Simple shortbread, sedapppppp n buttery, best kalau minum waktu petang or anytime of the day.

Bahan-bahan ( Resepi for 4 dozen (it depends) )

  • 8 ounces (1 cup) cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces (2-1/4 cups) all-purpose flour

Cara-cara

  1. Alas dulang pembakar with parchment paper
  2. Combine the butter, sugar, and salt in a mixer bowl, mix with low speed (tak payah tunggu kembang, mix sampai butter n gula sebati je, dalam 2 minutes)
  3. Add flour and mix on low (tips - scrap the bowl frequently sampai dough dah agak-agak nak sebati - about 3 mins, dont overmix)
  4. Roll dough lightly with floured surface, dalam 1/4 inch thick
  5. cut dough into bars or gunakan cookie cutter pun ok, (Tips - kalau dough jadi lembik, become sticky, refrigerate sekejap kat peti ais, so senang nak terap lagi)
  6. Arrange cookies yg dah di potong di atas dulang pembakar yg dah di alas with parchment paper, sejukkan sebentar for at least 20mins before baking
  7. Oven temperature 300°F, bake sampai golden brown on the bottom and edges, about 30mins to 1 hr
  8. If the cookies are done before 30 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 275°F for the remaining batches; if they take longer than 1 hour, increase the temperature to 325°F.
